The Problem
The Echuca Racing Club was increasing the number of races hosted at their venue, necessitating enhancements to their facilities. The project involved constructing new administration offices, male and female jockey amenities, changing rooms, a scales room and a steward’s room. With a tight schedule and the need to keep the venue operational for daily trackwork, Bourke Builders successfully met the client’s requirements while prioritising the safety of all involved parties.
The Solution
Bourke Builders collaborated closely with our design partners, utilising a concept plan as a foundation for estimating. Our responsibilities encompassed every facet of the project, including structural and mechanical design and ensuring compliance. Our robust relationships with the design team and contractors guaranteed that the project aligned with the Echuca Racing Club’s and Racing Victoria’s criteria and needs. We assumed the role of project managers, overseeing the engineering, design and mechanical aspects of the venture, while also taking charge of the construction process.
