The Stanhope Farrowing Shed project involved the construction of a large, modern agricultural facility measuring over 16 metres wide and more than 83 metres long. Managed from start to finish by Bourke Builders, the project showcased our ability to deliver high-quality, purpose-built infrastructure on time and to spec.
The shed was constructed using structural steel and precast concrete panels, ensuring strength, durability, and long-term performance. At the heart of the build is the farrowing pen area, featuring precast concrete panel walls and a Bondor panel ceiling suspended from the shed roof—designed to improve insulation, airflow, and hygiene.
To further enhance functionality and comfort, we built surrounding breezeways to promote ventilation and maintain a cooler environment throughout the year.
This was a great example of how Bourke Builders brings together practical design, quality materials, and seamless project management to deliver lasting results for our clients.
